Blyko, in collaboration with the Nature Association Tholen, has installed three concrete tidal tanks at Gorishoek and Scherpenisse.
This educational attraction offers non-divers and recreational visitors the opportunity to discover the underwater life in the Oosterschelde without having to dive or get wet. The concrete tanks remain full of water during low tide, leaving fish, seaweed and shells visible. In addition to schools and tourists, this project is also interesting for local residents who want to learn more about the region's biodiversity. The concrete tidal tanks are a beautiful gift to the Thool community in honor of the 40th anniversary of the Tholen Nature Association and a wonderful way to make nature education accessible to everyone.
